Lionsgate has shared the official Flight Threat trailer for the forthcoming suspense thriller, that includes Mark Wahlberg as a villain. The movie is scheduled to reach in theaters on January 24, 2025.
“On this high-stakes suspense thriller, Wahlberg performs a pilot transporting an Air Marshal accompanying a fugitive to trial. As they cross the Alaskan wilderness, tensions soar and belief is examined, as not everybody on board is who they appear,” reads the synopsis.

The video reveals Wahlberg’s antagonistic character Daryl Sales space, a hitman who disguises himself as a pilot so as to kill a authorities witness. Becoming a member of Wahlberg are That ’70s Present vet Topher Grace as witness Winston, and Downton Abbey alum Michelle Dockery as FBI agent Madelyn Harris.
Flight Threat is directed by Mel Gibson from a screenplay written by Jared Rosenberg. This marks the Braveheart actor’s directorial comeback after practically a decade since directing the Andrew Garfield-led struggle drama Hacksaw Ridge. The upcoming suspense thriller shall be led by Mark Wahlberg, who beforehand collaborated with Gibson on Daddy’s House 2 and Father Stu.
