Hey, everybody! I’m Michelle Buteau, and that is my hometown slang.
After I was rising up, each time you mentioned one thing that was, like, sarcastic or not true, you simply comply with that sentence with “sike.” I imply, why did I try this? It was simply, like, at a ten always. I used to be giving a ten — I ought to be serving a 6. Like, that’s not OK. Sike! It was wonderful. See what I did there? No one cares.
“Mad,” “mad” loads like, “Oh, that meals was mad good.” Or “Ooh, that line was mad lengthy.” Like, folks in Jersey was so mad, we really must, like, use it for good issues sooner or later.
Oh my God. And once you actually like someone, you’d be like, “Oh, yeah, like ’em loads. I used to be sweatin’ them.” What? “I used to be sweatin’ them”?! “Ooh, that film. I used to be sweatin’ that film so arduous. I used to be ready in that line mad lengthy. SIKE! I purchased my tickets upfront.”
