Former prime minister Scott Morrison will miss the opening of the brand new parliament as he heads to Tokyo for conferences with political and enterprise leaders.
Former prime minister Scott Morrison will miss the primary week of parliament as he jets off to Japan.
In a press release launched on Monday afternoon, Mr Morrison confirmed he’ll go to Tokyo concurrently the opening of the forty seventh parliament in Canberra.
“Previous to the brand new authorities advising the sitting schedule for the rest of 2022, I had already accepted an invite to hitch different former prime ministers from Canada, the UK and New Zealand to deal with a global occasion to be held in Tokyo this week,” he stated.
