Netflix has introduced that they’re growing a prequel collection to their present Virgin River which can comply with the love story of Mel’s mother and father. The flagship collection follows the lives of the residents of the eponymous Northern California city, together with nurse practitioner Mel (Alexandra Breckenridge), bar proprietor and veteran Jack (Martin Henderson), city physician Doc (Tim Matheson), mayor Hope (Annette O’Toole) and plenty of extra.
If ordered to collection, the prequel would comply with Mel’s mother and father: Sarah Jensen, who died when Mel was younger, and Everett Reed (John Allen Nelson), who was revealed as Mel’s organic father in Season 6 finale “Father Christmas.”
Virgin River premiered in 2019 and is now in manufacturing on its sixth season. The collection, which constantly dominates the Netflix Prime 10 when new seasons are launched, relies on Robyn Carr’s novel collection of the identical identify and was developed for tv by Sue Tenney. Patrick Sean Smith serves as showrunner and is writing the prequel collection.
