311’s Nick Hexum joined Loudwire Nights on Friday (Sept. 27) to look again on almost 30 years of the band’s self-titled album in addition to rejoice their subsequent full-length document, Full Bloom, out on Oct. 25.
“It has been just a little bit since we have had new music to rejoice,” Hexum advised host Chuck Armstrong particularly about Full Bloom‘s lead singe — and 311’s first new track in 5 years — “You are Gonna Get It.”
“I really feel like we’re in a brand new zone…we’re excited concerning the new album that we made.”
Hexum mentioned the band’s morale is excessive as they prepare for the discharge of Full Bloom.
