Police have launched an investigation after a bike rider died shortly after a pursuit was known as off.
NSW Police had been patrolling the Jamberoo space on the south coast, about 120km south of Sydney, after they tried to cease a bike rider for a random breath take a look at about 3.35pm on Sunday.
Police will allege when the rider did not cease, officers started to pursue him of their automobile.
“The pursuit was then terminated a brief later resulting from security considerations,” a NSW Police spokesman stated.
A short while later, police discovered the motorbike after it had crashed on Jamberoo Rd.
“Police instantly commenced first assist on the rider earlier than NSW Ambulance paramedics arrived; nonetheless, he died on the scene,” the spokesman stated.
