David Cronenberg’s newest film hits Hulu this week.
Beginning on Monday, October 31, streaming service subscribers can watch Crimes of the Future. Set in a not-so-distant future, the movie is written and directed by Cronenberg (The Fly, Maps to the Stars). It stars Viggo Mortensen, Kristen Stewart, Léa Seydoux, Scott Speedman, Welket Bungué, Don McKellar, Lihi Kornowski, Tanaya Beatty, Nadia Litz, Yorgos Karamichos, and Yorgos Pirpassopoulos.
“Within the movie, because the human species adapts to an artificial atmosphere, the physique undergoes new transformations and mutations,” reads the synopsis. “Together with his companion Caprice, Saul Tenser, movie star efficiency artist, publicly showcases the metamorphosis of his organs in avant-garde performances.
