Paris Hilton has spoken out towards Pink‘s well-known recreation of her intercourse tape in a music video, claiming the singer made her really feel shamed and diminished.
In her new memoir Paris: The Memoir, the 42-year-old casts again to 2006 when Pink launched the music video for her music Silly Women.
Hilton claims that after receiving an onslaught of unfavorable backlash and shaming for the discharge of her intercourse tape with then-boyfriend Rick Salomon in 2003, Pink’s music video solely served to make issues worse.

“Pink sang about ‘outcasts and women with ambition’ and stated, ‘That is what I wanna see.’ However she selected to not see it in me,” Hilton writes.
In her memoir, Hilton reveals she was pressured into filming the tape with Salomon, who was 13 years older than her on the time. She was 19 whereas he was 32.
“He informed me if I would not do it, he may simply discover somebody who would, and that was the worst factor I may consider – to be dumped by this grown man as a result of I used to be a silly child who did not know the way to play grown-up video games,” she writes.
Addressing the intercourse tape itself, Hilton writes: “The world thinks of me as a intercourse image, and I am right here for that, as a result of ‘image’ actually means ‘icon.’

“However when folks noticed that intercourse tape, they did not say ‘icon,’ they stated ‘slut.’ They stated ‘whore.’ They usually weren’t shy about it.”
Reflecting on the Silly Women music video, which options Pink dressing up as varied variations of Hilton and different high-profile younger American socialites of the time, Hilton calls it a “not-at-all-subtle send-up of ‘porno paparazzi women’ generally and, particularly, me.”
Although Hilton claims she’s not eager to feud with the singer, and is merely being “sincere”.

Talking on Watch What Occurs Dwell with Andy Cohen on the time, the singer recalled a time she bumped into the Hilton.
