An limitless area of magnolias
The clouds grasp
like mauve hydrangeas
within the vivid-blue backyard
of the New England sky
as my shopper pauses
midway alongside
the brown and black
speckled footpath
to my seek the advice of room
to converse with
a single magnolia
acclaiming its apparel
of light pink and
black-striped trimmings
our activity lay in serving to her
to equally discover
her inside grace and resilience
and the alternatives accessible
to liberate herself
to veer off into an
limitless area of magnolias
some even with double blossoms
white, pink, purple, and
shades of yellow
beckoning on a journey
to her genuine self.
