Police had been referred to as to stories of a stabbing on Hutchinson Avenue in Coober Pedy about 5.45pm on Tuesday final week.
“When police arrived, they discovered a person collapsed on the footpath who had been stabbed,” police alleged.
The 46-year-old man from Indulkana was rushed to hospital however died shortly later.
A 47-year-old man from Coober Pedy was arrested close by and charged with homicide. He appeared in court docket the next day.
