Police discovered 200,000 unlawful nicotine vapes value about $8m after they responded to a break in at a Melbourne warehouse.
Victoria Police acquired a name a few business housebreaking on Middleborough Street in Field Hill South about 4am on Thursday.
When officers arrived on the scene they discovered greater than 1000 containers of unlawful vapes value about $8m.
Possessing a business amount of unlawful vapes is a Commonwealth offence, with police handing over the investigation to the Therapeutic Items Administration (TGA).
The TGA works with authorities throughout Australia to implement vaping legal guidelines and holds powers to grab alleged illegal vapes below warrant.
Police and detectives from Taskforce Viper and Taskforce Lunar will help the TGA in seizing the unlawful vapes.
No arrests have been made as investigations into the housebreaking proceed.
