A Premier League participant has been arrested on suspicion of rape.
The participant, who’s in his late twenties, can’t be named for authorized causes.
He was arrested on Monday after a girl in her twenties reported an allegation of rape to the police.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson informed Stats Carry out: “On July 4, an allegation of rape of a girl in her 20s was reported to police.
“It was reported the alleged rape occurred in June 2022.
“On July 4, a person was arrested at an tackle in Barnet on suspicion of rape and brought into custody the place he stays.
“Enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing.”
