European Olympic Committees (EOC) president Spyros Capralos criticised the choice by World Athletics on Friday.
World Athletics (WA) and the Worldwide Boxing Affiliation (IBA) have introduced funds for their very own medallists, with WA providing $US50,000 ($75,000) in prize cash to its 48 Olympic champions in Paris.
