Rappers say the darnedest issues of their songs. A few of their lyrics are so complicated that followers do not know what they’re rapping about.
For instance, on Wealthy Gang’s 2013 observe “Way of life,” Younger Thug raps, “Nelivliflikabegittldisondbeggining.” Huh, what? After cautious translation, Thugger really says: “N***a livin’ life like a newbie and that is solely beginnin’.”
One other rapper typically identified for his complicated lyrics is Ghostface Killah. The Wu-Tang Clan member’s 2000 music “Nutmeg” is totally indecipherable. In a single verse, Ghostdini spits, “Scientific, my hand kissed it/Robotic, let’s suppose optimistic/You most likely missed it, watch me Dolly d**ok it/Scotty Wotty copper tipped me, large microphone hippie.”
What does that even imply?
Then, now we have Jay-Z. In one of many only a few occasions Hov’s masterful bars could not be interpreted clearly and concisely, followers of the Brooklyn billionaire have been famously confused for years over one punchline specifically from Jay’s 2001 opus, The Blueprint. Within the fourth verse of “U Do not Know,” does Jay-Z say “whale” or “effectively?”
“I promote ice within the winter, I promote hearth in Hell,” Jigga raps. “I am a hustler, child, I will promote water to a whale [well]/I used to be born to get cake, transfer on and swap states/Cop the coupe with the roof gone and swap plates.”
