Title, I’ve been hoarding $50+ of play retailer credit score amassed from Google survey rewards and I’m having hassle discovering video games that match my standards, however have some examples beneath that match:
- Should be simply quittable / resumable and doesn’t require lengthy classes with out saving
- Should not have lengthy loading screens, like 10+ seconds (I do know that is relative, I’ve a Pixel 7 if that helps)
- Contact controls have to be equal or higher than console/PC port if it exists (no digital joysticks/buttons, I keep away from these just like the plague)
- Ability ground (in mechanics, complexity, or technique) have to be considerably approachable
- will need to have gameplay — not on the lookout for narrative-only adventures/visible novels, I learn books for that.
and good to haves:
- <5min recreation loops
- primarily offline
- paid recreation most well-liked over free w/ iap
Examples of video games that match the invoice:
- Slay the Spire — Golden customary, good for touchscreen, intensely addicting technique that's intuitive/fast to be taught, brief battles and runs that I can save or abandon at any time. simply my favourite (however don't need any technique video games which might be extra advanced than this)
- Stardew valley — nice instance of a cell port completed proper, tapping really works intuitively and doesn't require a digital joystick. in-game days are longer than 5 min so not good although
- The World Ends With You — It's acquired enjoyable gameplay and story, it autosaves, and the contact controls work. sadly I believe it's not comfy to suit a recreation loop in lower than 5 minutes although and there are some long-ish loading screens
I really feel like these are easy asks however I really feel I’ve been looking, and nearly all of video games I see in my really useful feeds break a number of of the above guidelines that are essential to me. so I apologize for being choosy and drastically respect your time and solutions 🙂 I do know you're hiding some gems from me!
