Riverdale is sock-hopping its means again to the Nineteen Fifties for its last season… and Archie and his friends aren’t simply carrying completely different garments.
The CW has launched a trailer for Season 7 — which you’ll watch above — and in it, we get our first good have a look at the aftermath of final season’s finale, when the gang’s climactic battle with Percival and a lethal comet one way or the other catapulted them again by time to the 12 months 1955 and put them again in highschool once more. Jughead is the one one who remembers their former lives, however he has a tough time convincing his mates they’re truly from the longer term. (To be honest, it does sound slightly nutty when he says it out loud.)
Archie isn’t all that occupied with going wherever: “We’re juniors in highschool. Life’s good.” He and the others do appear completely happy, though the romantic pairings are slightly shocking: Betty is courting Kevin (!), though he’s nonetheless exchanging longing seems to be with males over her shoulder, and Archie is getting married to… Cheryl?! Plus, Veronica is now a glamorous Hollywood superstar, Toni does a horny interpretive dance that will get Cheryl’s motor working — and we predict we noticed Jughead kissing Veronica?
However that is Riverdale in spite of everything, so after all there’s a little bit of bloodshed, with Archie strapped to a desk as somebody approaches menacingly with an influence noticed. Appears to be like superior… or, as Jughead corrects himself: “Swell.”
Riverdale‘s last season kicks off Wednesday, March 29 at 9/8c. Get a sneak peek above, after which seize a sales space within the feedback beneath to present us your first impressions.
