Through the one-on-one, Ronaldo was largely scathing of Manchester United, criticising the board, younger gamers and supervisor, Erik ten Hag.
United confirmed on Thursday they’ve handled the matter, although they didn’t disclose what punishment had been handed out to Ronaldo.
He was then reported as being ailing when absent for Portugal’s pre-World Cup pleasant with Nigeria on Thursday, however he returned to coaching two days later.
Regardless of the hysteria surrounding the 37-year-old, Neves insists Portugal – and Ronaldo – are trying good forward of their World Cup opener towards Ghana on Thursday.
“From what I’ve seen in coaching, he’s in nice form,” Neves advised reporters at Portugal’s coaching base.
“[Ronaldo’s interview] is by no means a topic that issues us. We all know completely nicely that our collective should work very nicely to spotlight people.
