Sean Diddy Combs was arrested in Manhattan on Monday following a grand jury indictment.
The fees within the indictment weren’t instantly recognized.
Combs has vehemently denied the allegations.
Marc Agnifilo, a lawyer for Combs, confirmed the arrest to Enterprise Insider.
Agnifilo beforehand instructed BI that sex-trafficking allegations by Combs’ former girlfriend, R&B singer Cassie Ventura, have been the spark for the investigation by prosecutors for the Southern District of New York.
Ventura first took her allegations public in November of 2023 in a lawsuit. The go well with was settled for undisclosed phrases. In Could, CNN revealed 2016 video which depicted Combs shoving, dragging, and kicking Ventura at a Los Angeles resort, prompting additional scrutiny.
The continuing authorized turmoil has taken a toll on Combs’ enterprise ventures, with Combs promoting off his complete stake in Revolt, the media firm he based, in June.
