Shōgun is not a restricted collection: FX is planning extra installments of the historic drama.
The renewal was anticipated, hinted at by star-producer Hiroyuki Sanada finalizing a deal to return as Lord Yoshii Toranaga. Additionally returning are co-creators, govt producers, and writers Justin Marks and Rachel Kondo, together with govt producer Michaela Clavell.
At present, FX and streaming companion Hulu are collaborating with the property of Shōgun writer James Clavell to develop two further seasons.
Though there is not any official inexperienced mild or manufacturing begin date, a writers’ room is being assembled and can start this summer season. It is also unclear if the brand new seasons will stay inside the Shōgun universe or draw from different books in Clavell’s Asian Saga.
