SA Chief Inspector Mark Collise stated a person produced a knife when he was spoken to by workers on the retailer on Reid Avenue in Gawler, about 44km north of Adelaide, about 9.20am.
Police have been known as whereas grocery store administration evacuated the shop.
Police arrived inside 4 minutes of being known as and “found a person laying on the ground of the grocery store holding a knife”, Collise stated.
He stated the 50-year-old man was arrested with out anybody being harmed.
Police have reviewed CCTV and found ”the person had little or no interplay with anybody main up the incident”.
Collise praised the actions of workers.
The person been taken to hospital the place he’s present process a medical evaluation.
