A day after it was knocked off its place as Australia’s greatest metropolis, Sydney has regained the mantle following a choice by NSW demographers to increase Sydney’s boundary south.
The ABS confirmed that Higher Sydney now contains the outer south-western suburb of Melbourne, which has been a progress space for the NSW capital lately.
Regardless of its far-flung location 700km from the CBD, Melbourne is claimed to have a few of the finest cafes, bars and eating places in Sydney.
Sydney Lord Mayor Clover Moore stated increasingly folks have been selecting to reside in Melbourne and commuting to town when required.
