A 3-year-old Sydney boy has been sentenced to fifteen months in jail, with a non-parole interval of eight months, after the little shit pressed a pedestrian crossing button for fun.
Justice of the Peace John Riley mentioned the boy, Charlie Rowe, had recklessly wasted folks’s time, forcing drivers to cease on the crossing for 48 seconds, though he had no intention of crossing the street himself.
“This was a calculated motion to disrupt site visitors in Sydney. You’ve gotten intentionally and selfishly pressed a button, realizing it will trigger the site visitors lights to show crimson, after which seemed on laughing whereas drivers had been compelled to cease. This has needlessly brought about severe disruption to peak hour site visitors,” Riley mentioned.
The prosecution argued that there was a component of planning concerned. “Witnesses have confirmed that, simply days earlier, you arrived at childcare saying, ‘Wouldn’t it’s humorous if we pressed the button and made the automobiles cease’,” attorneys for the NSW Authorities mentioned.
NSW Premier Dominic Perrottet mentioned the sentence was pleasing to see. “He may assume it’s humorous, but when he needs to place our lifestyle in danger, then we should always throw the guide at him”.
