The 15-year-old Seaford boy was knocked unconscious when he fell off the motorised skateboard and hit his head on bitumen at a carpark on the Esplanade at Seaford about 10pm yesterday.
He was rushed to the Flinders Medical Centre with life-threatening head accidents.
Police from the most important crash unit are investigating the incident.
Chief Inspector Peter Duance has warned e-skateboards “might be fairly harmful”.

Security knowledgeable Amelia Jarrett from Kidsafe has reminded the general public that electrical skateboards are unlawful in public areas.
