One other week and one other episode of The Acolyte to sit down by. Final week gave me such hope because the episode was stuffed with continuous motion. I had hoped we’d get some comply with up motion this week however Educate/Corrupt was not that.
Osha awakens to search out herself at Qimir’s lair. She silently follows him however we all know this Grasp fallen Jedi is conscious of her presence. He goes to take a fast tub in a scene that I felt was pointless and simply meant to indicate off his physique greater than him utilizing his appears to assist seduce Osha to the Darkish Aspect. Look, I really like a superb trying villain like the following fan woman, but it surely has to make sense and I don’t assume it labored; felt a bit compelled.

Qimir and Osha spent all episode speaking and dancing round regardless of the level was of him wanting her. We see some fairly unhealthy scars on him and are led to consider his earlier Grasp (Vernestra maybe) gave him the scars. He’s clearly manipulating Osha who claims she is just not so simply manipulated like her sister Mae however finally ends up placing on his helmet anyway. Both Osha is a really nice actress or Qimir’s thoughts methods are working and he’s changing Mae with Osha as his pupil.
Talking of Mae, she is pretending to be Osha on the ship with Sol. Osha’s droid and Bazil the tracker are clearly on to her and sabotage the ship in an try and entice her. That doesn’t work and it appears like she is lastly about to get Sol to spill his guts when it’s revealed that he knew she was Mae all alongside.
We are not any nearer to the massive reveal of the reality of what occurred when the twins had been little and why Qimir is our large unhealthy. The roles of the women appear to have reversed with Osha maybe turning to the Darkish Aspect and Mae might soften as soon as she hears the reality from Sol – which I hope occurs subsequent episode.

Sol did handle to get a misery sign out and a search get together was despatched to the planet. We noticed the whip lightsaber but it surely was solely used to kill a bug from the planet. One other waste of one thing I used to be very enthusiastic about. I’m hoping we get to see the weapon utilized in extra motion later within the season. Though, I do consider this weapon is what gave Qimir his scars.
General the episode lacked motion and was extra dialogue heavy. There was quite a lot of dialogue however no clarification or motion ahead for the storyline. The episode simply felt like a waste after such nice motion final week.
