The Continental: From the World of John Wick was one of many few reveals that did not have a cancelled panel for 2023’s San Diego Comedian Con. It is the one Ballroom 20 or Corridor H panel to refill to date.
The panel featured: Albert Hughes, Director of “Night time One” (101) and “Night time Three” (103); Marshall Persinger, Producer; Larnell Stovall, Motion Director; Drew Boughton, Manufacturing Designer; and Ron Rosen, Editor.
In the course of the panel, 4 clips have been proven, outlining the motion and cinematography
we needed to look ahead to. We met Winston Scott (Colin Woodell), Charon (Ayomide Adegun), Cormac (Mel Gibson), and another distinctive characters. The primary clip featured an intense struggle scene in a stairwell, with the second giving us a style into Cormac, Mel Gibson’s character. The third clip went again to some preventing, with one character actually rocking a 70s-accurate hairdo. The ultimate clip had Charon deciding the place his loyalties lay.
Audiences have been advised that they’ll look ahead to era-appropriate soundtracks (Black Sabbath, right here we come!), classic feeling to the footage (outdated lenses have been used; fashionable lenses are too sharp), and a sadistic however charismatic Mel Gibson. We have been teased that “there’s going to be one struggle scene that will likely be talked about for some time”.
The Continental: From the World of John Wick can have 3 episodes in complete, with a possible for a Season 2. The episodes are titled “Night time One”, “Night time Two”, and “Night time Three”; releasing on Peacock September twenty second, September twenty ninth, and October sixth, respectively.
