The Lebanese Armed Forces (LAF) obtained three new Huey II helicopters value $24 million from the USA of America (USA).
In response to Lebanon’s US Ambassador Dorothy Shea, who met with LAF Brigadier Basic Ziad Haikal and Colonel Michel Saifi on the supply ceremony on Friday, the brand-new helicopters symbolize the energy and closeness of the LAF and the US.
“The US is dedicated to pursuing further ways in which we will help the LAF proceed its very important position in securing and defending Lebanon, and we deeply admire the LAF’s position in advising us in your wants,” acknowledged Shea.
The US Division of State not too long ago authorized an extra $210 million in international army support for the LAF.
Ambassador Shea additionally acknowledged that the US commends “the LAF’s dedication and arduous work for the folks of Lebanon, and they’re proud to assist them.”
