After being closed for over six months as a result of corruption investigations and a strike, the Site visitors Administration Authority (often known as “Nefaa”) is now extending the automobile registration division’s operational days to 4 days per week.
In a current assertion, the Site visitors Administration Authority declared the extension of working days on the major Automobiles Registration Division middle in Dekwaneh from three to 4 days per week.
This alteration will come into impact beginning Monday, March 18th.
As outlined within the assertion issued by the authority, providers will now be supplied in accordance with the next schedule:
- Mondays are designated for processing transactions for homeowners of used and imported automobile dealerships.
- Monday, March twenty fifth, 2024, will change the official closing day.
- Monday, April 1st, 2024, may also change the official closing day.
Transactions that have been beforehand initiated and never accomplished will resume processing beginning at midday as follows:
- Monday, March 18th: for autos and bikes with chassis numbers ending in 3/2/1/0.
- Friday, March twenty second: for autos and bikes with chassis numbers ending in 6/5/4.
- Friday, April fifth: for autos and bikes with chassis numbers ending in 9/8/7.
In different departments (Zahle, Sidon, Nabatieh, and Tripoli), work will proceed as traditional on the next schedule:
- Tuesdays: for autos/market licenses ending in 3/2/1/0.
- Wednesdays: for autos/market licenses ending in 6/5/4.
- Thursdays: for autos/market licenses ending in 9/8/7.
The Automobiles Registration Division plans to introduce new providers within the coming weeks.
