Liberal Get together Defence and Nationwide Safety Coverage Chair Lincoln Parker has slammed the Albanese authorities for “punching under” their weight by “bludging off our allies” by refusing to ship a ship to the Crimson Sea.
In December, Australia denied a request from the US to ship a warship to the Crimson Sea as a part of worldwide efforts to safeguard ships from assaults by Iranian-backed Houthi rebels.
“We’re truly bludging proper now off our allies. Australia depends on sea lanes for all of our vital and all of our exports … we ought to be doing our bit,” Mr Parker instructed Sky Information host Erin Parker.
“We have been requested by the Individuals to come back out and ship a ship for the Crimson Sea to cease an assault on all of the delivery.
“Prime Minister Albanese has stated no, and we’re not punching above our weight – we’re punching under our weight, and it’s an actual disgrace.”
