In regards to the track, frontman Matthew Koma says, “‘Sha La La’ is a track about getting older, romanticizing the previous, and forgetting all of the imperfections that accompanied the highlights. It’s very easy for me to look again and want I may relive sure moments as a result of time and distance have allowed them to be polished and refined. It’s humorous how one can create this false reminiscence of how issues had been, nearly just for the aim of creating you’re feeling horrible in regards to the right here and now.”
The band will assist Waterparks on a few California exhibits this spring. See their upcoming dates, plus the video for “Sha La La,” directed by Zack Sekuler, under.
