Final week: Though many readers mistook it for the Nationwide Movie and Sound Archive (former house of the Institute of Anatomy) constructing in Acton, congratulations go to Sigrid Horner of Deakin who was first to appropriately determine final week’s picture as a picture (really, a postcard) of the unique Nationwide (Commonwealth) Library of Australia which was positioned on Kings Avenue on the location of the present Edmund Barton Constructing. “I used to trip my bike there as a baby and was impressed by its air of grandeur and serenity, and naturally, the books,” remembers first-time winner Sigrid.
