I’ve tried every kind of settings, turning on and off HDR plus from the TV itself, and from xbox, enabling 4:2:2, 8/10/12 bit, and all kinds of mixtures, and but, no matter whether or not I’ve HDR on or off, colours are at all times washed out. With HDR, the colours are very flat, and with out HDR, the whole lot is so dim.
I used the identical cable, related to my macbook professional, ticked HDR from the mac settings and bob’s your uncle – excellent shade. I even have used the identical cable + xbox on a distinct TV, a more recent 2020 panasonic with dolby imaginative and prescient and the colours are nice there, the whole lot simply works.
