“XO, Kitty” follows Kitty Tune Covey (Anna Cathcart) as she travels to South Korea with a view to reconnect with a misplaced love. By the sound of issues, the “XO, Kitty” forged rapidly developed an in depth bond — although two of the forged members are literally members of the family, which was apparently a giant shock for everybody.
It seems that Gia Kim and Sang Heon Lee, who play Yuri and Min Ho, are literally real-life siblings. In an interview with Teen Vogue, fellow star Minyeong Choi opened up about how the forged discovered they have been associated. “I am unsure if I am allowed to say this, however . . . do you know that Gia [Kim, who plays Yuri] and Sang Heon are siblings in actual life?” Choi mentioned of the “mind-blowing” revelation. He went on to disclose that the information had come to mild when Lee requested if he may add his sister to a forged group textual content.
“I used to be like, ‘What?’ After all, I wish to meet my forged’s household too, however not on the primary day and never in our first assembly,” Choi mentioned. “[Then] Sang Heon was like, ‘Oh, really, she’s enjoying Yuri.’ After which I used to be like, ‘What?!'”
Based on Choi, the forged grew extraordinarily shut over the course of filming, so there weren’t too many extra massive surprises to comply with. Nevertheless, his sister’s presence did make issues a bit of uncomfortable for Choi when he needed to kiss Madison (Jocelyn Shelfo) whereas Kim was on set. “I did not need her to be there, and, oh my gosh, it was simply so awkward . . . I [could] see Gia all the best way there, behind the DJ sales space set,” he advised Netflix in Could, “saying that his sister refused to depart even after he requested her to. “She was like, ‘No!’ And I used to be like, ‘What do you imply, no?!” he continued. “You wish to see your brother kiss somebody?’ I believe that was my foremost awkward and embarrassing second.”
Luckily for followers — although presumably sadly for Choi — there could also be much more moments like that in retailer, because the present was renewed for season two in June.
“XO, Kitty” season one is now streaming on Netflix.
