Slayers 2 Thunder Breathing
To begin, you need to first reach level 25, obtain 10x Demon Horns, and have a spare $7,000 Wen to invest.
Demon Horns drop from most Demon types, including those which spawn inside cave systems. This means they’re easier to farm, as you don’t need to wait for night cycles for the Demons to spawn. I recommend farming in the hidden cave underneath the waterfall at the drop-off point near Bamboo Grove, close to the Mother Bear.
Thunder Trainer Zentaro Location
The Thunder Trainer is located at the very top of one of the mountains at Verdant Cliffs.
From the starting village, head towards the Mother Bear spawn, and walk West to the Torii gate near where Zenitsu spawns. Through the torii gate, turn right at the tree trunks, and begin climbing the wall around the corner.
You should see a log suspended over a drop. Walk along this and then climb up the next mountain face. At the next platform, head around the back of the hill you just climbed and stand on the wooden platform which has hooks on a wire.
To the left of the platform is another tree log bridge. Jump down and walk across this, and then climb up the mountain it connects to all the way to the top.
At the peak of this final mountain, you’ll find the Thunder Trainer Zentaro.
Note: Reaching this NPC is impossible without the climb ability.
Training Minigame
After selecting Learn Thunder, you’ll have a map meditative icon ping for 4km away. If your spawn is set to the starting village, I suggest hitting reset to shorten the distance. If not, make it to this point your usual way.
- First game: Click your mouse whenever the moving yellow bar is inside the blue circle until at 100%.
- Second game: Memorise which cup holds the ball as they swap and interchange. Select the correct cup ten times to proceed.
- Third game: Push-ups have the same minigame as horse taming, where you need to press the circle when the ring is full.
- Fourth game: Tap the targets that spawn on the screen.
- Fifth game: Climb to the top of the mountain and split the boulder. Drag the circle in a line following the outline to strike the boulder until it splits.
For the final challenge, you need to defeat the Thunder Trainee. I suggest setting your spawn point somewhere close by, like in the Hidden Mist Village, in case you die. Thunder Trainee only has 600 HP, but he will always block the first attack you try to land.
If you see him start a lightning attack, immediately hit F to block.
On defeat, you’ll immediately unlock Thunder Breathing. No need to return to the Trainer NPC.
