If Overcooked! already tested your friendship in the kitchen, Stage Fright is ready to take that teamwork somewhere much creepier. The upcoming two-player co-op adventure comes from Ghost Town Games, the studio behind Overcooked!, but this time players will be solving puzzles and exploring a mysterious town instead of preparing meals under pressure.
Stage Fright is built around two-player cooperation, with you and a friend working together through escape-room-style puzzles, strange obstacles, and mysteries. Communication and teamwork play a major role, while the game also promises some of the chaotic moments Ghost Town Games became known for with Overcooked!.
Despite its creepy atmosphere, Stage Fright isn’t going full-on terrifying horror. Its colorful presentation and charming characters give the game a cute yet eerie personality as players follow Drew, Blake, and Charlie through a coming-of-age story told from different perspectives.
Players will be able to team up through online co-op or shared/split-screen co-op, making it especially suited for friends playing side-by-side. Stage Fright is currently listed for Steam and Nintendo Switch, while its release date remains to be announced.
