Taylor Sheridan has left us hanging for long enough, and we’re desperate to get back to work down in Texas. After months of uncertainty, Sheridan’s most popular new series has delivered the update fans have been waiting for. Considering Season 2 wrapped all the way back in January, it’s fair to say the wait has been a little longer than anyone expected. Production had slipped much later than we’re used to seeing, particularly from the first two seasons of the Paramount+ breakout. The show’s co-creator, Christian Wallace, had previously acknowledged that Season 3 was running behind, while Jordan said in August that Sheridan was still writing the season and expected filming to begin sometime in September.
James Jordan (Yellowstone), who plays Dale Bradley in Landman, has revealed that he is back at work on Season 3. Jordan shared an image of his production trailer bearing Dale’s name on September 24, writing, “Up n runnin’ and back after it!” The delay means Landman likely won’t be following the November launch pattern established by its first two seasons, and Paramount+ has yet to announce an official Season 3 premiere date. The second season concluded with Tommy Norris being fired by Cami Miller from his position at MTex Oil, and deciding to join his son in his own commercial venture, after Cooper had struck oil himself. Meanwhile, we’ll see Angela return for more hijinks as she attempts to continue hosting the world’s most elaborate dinners, and Ainsley off to see the world during her time at college, while cheerleading.

Who Is Returning for ‘Landman’ Season 3?
Billy Bob Thornton (Fargo) will return as Tommy Norris, with Demi Moore (The Substance) as Cami Miller, Ali Larter (Final Destination) as Angela Norris, Jacob Lofland (Mud) as Cooper Norris, Michelle Randolph (1923) as Ainsley Norris, Paulina Chávez (The Expanding Universe of Ashley Garcia) as Ariana Medina, Colm Feore (The Umbrella Academy) as Nathan, and Jordan as Dale Bradley. Season 3 will also introduce Michael Kelly (Jack Ryan) as William Crockett, a powerful figure in the oil industry. The series has plenty of momentum to build on whenever it does return. Season 2 concluded on January 18, with its finale reportedly drawing 14.8 million global viewers in its first two days.
