James Parrett: Missing Canberra man traced to NSW South Coast | The Canberra Times

Police have renewed calls for information about the whereabouts of missing Canberra man James Parrett, after police investigators traced his last known movements to locations on the NSW South Coast.

The 27-year-old man from Kambah was reported missing 29 days ago, on Monday August 24, an ACT Policing spokesperson said.

On that day, police investigators say he left the ACT in his red Kia Rio hatchback on the Monaro Highway, headed south. James made purchases in Bermagui and Batemans Bay in NSW that same day.

On August 25, James was seen at a cafe in South Nowra before he went to the Wollongong Central shopping mall.

Since then, there have been no confirmed sightings of James or his vehicle, which has the ACT registration plates YOM07E. The vehicle also has extensive hail damage.

None of his bank accounts have been accessed, nor has he had any contact with family or friends.

He is described as Caucasian in appearance, with a fair complexion, short brown messy hair, brown eyes and glasses. He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt, black track pants and a black jumper with a logo on the back.

Mr Parrett’s family and police hold significant concerns for his welfare, and are requesting the public’s assistance to locate him or his vehicle.
