Erin Lichy reacted to Jessel Taank‘s suggestion that her Hamptons flood was an insurance play on Tuesday night’s episode of Watch What Happens Live.
As she also explained repeating a comment that compared her flood to the damage sustained in New Orleans from Hurricane Katrina, revealed if she’d spoken to Chanel Ayan, 48, since her voicemail was aired on The Real Housewives of New York City, and clarified calling out Hailey Glassman, 39, for potentially breaking up Jon, 49, and Kate Gosselin‘s marriage, Erin, 39, slammed Jessel, 46, for the comments she made about Daisy Toye‘s apartment ceiling.
“That was probably the most disturbing thing I’ve heard in a long time,” Erin said after being asked about Jessel’s flood suspicion on the September 22 episode of WWHL. “I thought we were coming into this saying things like, ‘fake, phony, jealous, b*tch, whatever.’ I didn’t expect us to go that below the belt.”
She then said that when it came to the Hurricane Katrina comparison, she was simply repeating something her architect said to her.
“Of course I’m not comparing the two. I would never compare the two, ever,” she declared.
While Erin has been accused of being “obsessed with Jessel,” she noted that it was Jessel who was “Googling [her],” as she doubled down on calling her “thirsty” by refusing to defend her alleged thirst.
Then, after slamming Jessel’s habit of wearing heels in the morning, saying that her look was giving a “walk of shame kind of vibe,” Erin confirmed that their shared dermatologist was not mad that she brought them up on the show and added that the doctor “did say that [Jessel] was rude.”
“I don’t know what he’s saying now, but maybe he’s uncomfortable in front of his client, his new client, but he did say she was rude,” she shared.
Moving on to her drama with Chanel, of Real Housewives of Dubai, Erin said that venting to Chanel about Jessel was “probably the wrong person” before noting that “everything [she] said was true.”
As for whether she was surprised that Chanel’s voicemail aired on the show, Erin said, “No, not at all.”
Since the episode in which Chanel’s warning to Jessel about her was broadcast, Erin has been in touch with both Chanel and Chanel’s cousin, her former RHONY castmate Ubah Hassan, 43.
“[They] FaceTimed me and [Chanel] was like … ‘Ubah is so mad at me that I did that to you. I’m so sorry, but I like to gossip.’ I’m like, ‘It’s fine. It’s all good,’” Erin revealed. “It’s all love. It’s fine. It’s not that deep. We’re over it. I love Ubah, so Chanel’s lucky. That’s why I love Chanel.”
Moving on to Hailey, Erin reacted to Hailey likening her to “jam.”
“The jam didn’t bother me so much. It was like that, ‘She’s so boring. She’s talking about their daughter, and I’m blacking out’ stuff,” she admitted. “I’m gonna embrace jam. Jam is delicious. It can be very bougie. There’s lots of types of jam. You can get them in Vermont. I mean, I like jam too.”
Erin was then asked if she regretted calling Hailey out for breaking up a marriage after hearing her backstory with Jon.
“I just would never want to date anybody with eight children, whether or not he broke up a marriage. Eight children would just be like, I’m done,” she explained.
Regarding Jessel shading Daisy’s ceiling popcorn, Erin said it was “very mean” on the live broadcast before further discussing the matter on the WWHL: After Show.
“I thought it was and a little insensitive because popcorn ceiling is like a thing, like in New York City, like you look down on people that have it,” she explained. “And by the way, Daisy is a real host. You come into her house. There’s food. There’s a drink. There’s anything. Do you need this? Do you want to borrow clothes? She’s very warm, so it doesn’t matter what the place looks like.”
